Live PLI Groupcast

Changes in an administration bring new personnel and new enforcement priorities. The risks associated with certain business practices may have decreased while others may face increased scrutiny. This program is aimed at in-house lawyers and their outside advisors seeking to better understand the antitrust enforcement climate under the Trump Administration and the implications for businesses. Two seasoned antitrust practitioners, will help answer the following questions, as well as others:

  • What should you know about Makan Delrahim? Maureen Ohlhausen? Other appointees?
  • How will personnel changes impact enforcement priorities?
  • How will budget cuts impact the DOJ and FTC?
  • Will non-economic factors be taken into account in enforcement decisions?
  • Will the White House play a role in enforcement decisions?
  • Will cartel enforcement continue to be a priority and remain at recent historically high levels?
  • Will the agencies walk back antitrust enforcement against intellectual property practices?
  • Will the FTC continue to focus on healthcare and pharmaceuticals?
  • What are the implications for cross-border investigations?
  • Will the role of state Attorneys General change?

This program is accredited for CLE – Continuing Legal Education. For more information or to register, contact Robin Hallagan, +1 216 479 8115. There is a cost for attending this PLI program.
