Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) member Squire Patton Boggs is proud to announce that partner Stacie Yee has been selected for the 2015 Fellows Program of the LCLD, a national organization comprised of the legal profession’s top general counsel and managing partners.

“We are very excited to have Stacie selected to represent the firm as our 2015 Fellow for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity,” said Fred Nance, Squire Patton Boggs Regional Managing Partner and Co-Chair of the Global Diversity Committee. “This will be a unique experience for Stacie as she works with some of the most respected leaders within our profession, both in-house and in other firms, to identify and pursue best practices in the field of diversity and inclusion.”

“We congratulate Stacie on this well-deserved honor,” said Traci Rollins, Squire Patton Boggs Florida Regional Managing Partner and Co-Chair of the Global Diversity Committee. “Stacie joins a select group of experienced lawyers from diverse backgrounds who have been recognized for their high potential as leaders in their organization and the legal profession.”

Ms. Yee joins a class of more than 180 lawyers from around the country who have been selected as LCLD Fellows for 2015—the largest class in the program’s history. Resident in the Squire Patton Boggs Los Angeles office, Ms. Yee focuses her practice on labor and employment law matters as well as complex commercial litigation. She provides companies with employment counseling and advice, and also represents employers in wrongful discharge, discrimination, retaliation/whistleblower, and wage and hour litigation.

Launched in 2011, the LCLD Fellows Program is an ambitious, highly structured initiative designed to increase diversity at the leadership levels in law firms and corporate legal departments around the country. Each year, selected lawyers from diverse backgrounds participate in a year-long program which connects them with mentors who offer guidance on improving their professional brand, building relationships that enhance professional development, participating in corporate learning experiences, and sharpening stewardship and leadership skills.

According to LCLD President Robert J. Grey, Jr., the LCLD Fellows Program offers participants “an extraordinarily rich year of relationship-building, virtual and in-person training, peer-group projects, and extensive contact with LCLD’s top leadership.”

The Fellows initiative is one of several launched by LCLD since the organization’s founding in 2009. Other programs include a national mentoring initiative serving more than 2,000 mentors and mentees, a 1L Scholars program involving more than 200 first-year law students, and special programming for Members through CLE presentations and other platforms.
