Squire Patton Boggs is pleased to announce that Edward E. Steiner has joined the firm as partner in its Global Corporate Practice, resident in Cincinnati. Mr. Steiner arrives from Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL.

Mr. Steiner focuses his practice on corporate transactional matters, and has extensive experience in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures representing both public and closely held corporations, franchisors and franchisees, and other entities in a variety of industries. He is a recognized authority on corporate governance matters involving both public and privately held companies. He also regularly represents investment partnerships in venture capital and private equity transactions, including investment partnerships that utilize New Markets Tax Credits. Mr. Steiner has significant experience in initial and follow-on public offerings of securities, and in representing issuers and investors in private placements of securities.
Mr. Steiner has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he taught on the topics of corporate finance, venture capital and private equity, and mergers and acquisitions. He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia, his Master of Arts from Johns Hopkins University and his J.D. from Yale University, College of Law.
