Alexander G. Burlingame is experienced in general public finance matters. Alex has specific experience with taxable and tax exempt revenue bond financings. His experience includes the structuring and documentation of bond financings and refinancings for the benefit of private and public colleges and universities, as well as for multi-facility hospital systems and community hospitals.

Alex leads the firm’s higher education finance initiative. Alex works with financial advisors, trustees, banks, bond insurers and borrowers in the restructuring of distressed tax-exempt obligations. His experience also includes port authority economic development bond and lease financings.

Alex is a regular speaker on the subject of higher education finance. He has written on the subject of “Town & Gown” relations for the American Bar Association.
