David Griffiths is a partner in our pensions practice based in our Manchester office.

David has advised employers and trustees on pensions issues for more than 20 years. In that time he has helped to establish, amend, close and wind-up every kind of pension scheme including defined benefits, defined contributions, executive top-ups, funded and unfunded and small self-administered schemes.

In addition, David offers professional trustee services. He sits as trustee for a pension scheme with assets in excess of £180 million, and is the first stage dispute resolution decision-maker for another scheme.

Chambers UK rates David as a top practitioner, and recognises both his strong grasp of technical detail as well as his ability to place that detail into its appropriate commercial context and give clear, authoritative advice.

David is member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.
