Laura Hernández Rathe advises clients primarily on litigation and international dispute resolution matters. She also has experience with corporate, corporate finance and labor issues.
Laura’s experience with civil and commercial litigation procedures includes developing strategies for resolving disputes filed by and against clients, as well as appearing in court hearings on behalf of those clients. Laura also drafts motions and briefs related to complex civil and commercial matters and assists in identifying and collecting evidentiary material to be presented before the courts.
She also advises clients on the incorporation, integration and general operation of companies under Dominican law. Laura also performs due diligence, assists in collection procedures and represents clients in labor and employment disputes.
Laura has completed multiple civil and commercial litigation programs. She also completed a program in “Leadership in Law” from Columbia University, and is completed a Master’s Degree in Civil Liability with the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), jointly with the Université de Savoie, France. She is a founding member of the first Association of Young Attorneys in the Dominican Republic (“ANJA” in Spanish).
