Tim Lowles

Senior Associate

Tim Lowles is a Senior Associate in our Litigation Practice Group. Tim advises upon all aspects of commercial litigation with a particular emphasis on sport, contentious media and reputation management issues for companies, institutions and high profile individuals. He has been involved in a number of reported cases and was a member of the team which represented the Core Participant Victims in the Leveson Inquiry.

Tim has advised a number of household names from the sporting world on various issues ranging from contractual disputes to disciplinary proceedings. He also has considerable experience advising on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights.

Tim is a member of the London Solicitors Litigation Association, the City of Westminster & Holborn Law Society and the International Trademark Association.

  • Successfully obtaining an account of profits on behalf of well-known watch brand as a result of passing off by well-known high street retailer.
  • Successfully acting for pharmaceutical company in preventing parallel imports of competing products.
  • Representing well known High Street fashion retailer on a number of design right protection matters.
  • Successfully undertaking a clear up of a number of infringing domain names and businesses before US client’s entry into the UK marketplace.
  • Acting for World famous nightclub in protecting its brand within the UK by preventing competing club nights advertised using its brand name.
