Emily Wilson is a member of the firm’s Transportation, Infrastructure & Local Government and Public Policy Practices and works with corporate and nonprofit entities on legislative and regulatory matters. She has particular experience with congressional initiatives, the legislative process, natural resources, healthcare issues and certain aspects of foreign policy. She assists clients on the development and implementation of comprehensive strategic plans, identifies federal funding opportunities and provides guidance on the potential impacts of major reauthorizations and other federal policies. She also advises and supports clients with their interactions with the administration, congress and federal agencies.
Prior to joining the firm, Emily acquired in-depth knowledge and policy experience working on Capitol Hill, where she served as policy advisor to a member of the Georgia Congressional Delegation. In the private sector, she was solely responsible for management of Political Action Committee (PAC) funds, in addition to developing and implementing congressional and regulatory advocacy strategies on behalf of clients.
Emily graduated from the University of Georgia with dual-degrees in political science and international affairs.
