Building on the work of the Brookings Institution’s Metropolitan Infrastructure Initiative, this webinar will focus on pressing transportation and infrastructure challenges facing cities and suburbs in the US. This will include perspectives on public-private partnerships as one important, quickly evolving alternative to traditional financing of infrastructure projects in America.

The webinar will also focus on the key policies and issues related to metropolitan growth and development, including transportation and infrastructure, urban planning, growth management, suburban issues and smart cities. Additionally, learn the latest on a long-term transportation initiative and where the House and Senate are in efforts to craft a bipartisan, fully funded, long-term highway transportation bill before the end of the year.
