Ramón Castilla has more than 15 years of experience as a corporate M&A and real estate lawyer.

Ramóns' main expertise is advising on corporate and real estate operations such as: 

  • Purchase and sale of the companies operating in the real estate sector; 
  • Purchase and lease back of all types of real estate assets (department stores, office buildings, industrial premises, hotels); 
  • Sale & Lease Back operations of real estate assets; 
  • Financing and corporate restructuring of real estate groups;
  • Lease agreements acting for both landlords and tenants; 
  • Hotel operation and commercial management agreements; 
  • Turn key and forward funding agreements; 
  • M&A, corporate and business law and assistance on Due Diligence processes acting for both the Seller Due Diligence and for the Purchaser Due Diligence.

His expertise also covers advising international groups on their hydrocarbon research projects in Spain.

Our Spanish Real Estate Practice has been awarded as “Real Estate Law Firm of the Year” in 2009, 2010 and 2011, by several international legal publications (ACQ Finance Magazine; Corporate INTL Magazine, etc.).

Ramón Castilla es socio del departamento inmobiliario en nuestra oficina de Madrid. Ramón posee más de 15 años de experiencia como abogado de M&A, Mercantil e Inmobiliario, y dirige la práctica inmobiliaria en nuestra oficina de Madrid.

Su principal experiencia se basa en el asesoramiento en operaciones mercantiles e inmobiliarias tales como: (i) compraventa de compañías  del sector inmobiliario; (ii) compraventa de todo tipo de activos inmobiliarios (centros comerciales, edificios de oficinas, naves industriales, hoteles); (iii) Operaciones de Sale & Lease Back de activos inmobiliarios; (iv) Reestructuraciones financieras y mercantiles de grupos inmobiliarios; (v) Contratos de Arrendamiento (representando tanto al arrendador como al arrendatario); (vi) Contratos de dirección y comerciales en el sector hotelero; (vii) Proyectos llave en mano y financiaciones; (viii) M&A, derecho mercantil y societario y asistencia en procesos de Due Diligence (tanto representando a la parte vendedora (Seller Due Diligence) como a la parte compradora (Purchaser Due Diligence).

Su experiencia también incluye el asesoramiento a grupos internacionales en sus proyectos de investigación de hidrocarburos en España.

En 2009, 2010 y 2011 nuestro departamento inmobiliario ha sido galardonado como “Mejor Firma Inmobiliaria de España” (“Real Estate Law Firm of the Year”) concedidos por distintas publicaciones internacionales (ACQ Finance Magazine; Corporate INTL Magazine, etc).
