Robert Nauman focuses his practice on healthcare, health insurance and corporate matters.

Robert has extensive experience counselling healthcare clients, including hospitals and health systems, physicians, physician groups, ambulatory surgery centers, insurers, health plans and management companies, in a variety of regulatory and transactional matters.

Robert’s areas of expertise include healthcare fraud and abuse laws, Medicare reimbursement issues, provider alignment strategies, provider enrollment, accreditation and licensure, Accountable Care Organizations, provider acquisitions and affiliations, healthcare antitrust matters, insurance regulation and healthcare transactional matters.

He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Associations and the American Health Lawyers Association.

  • Providing regulatory advice and led the due diligence team in connection with a major northern Virginia health system’s acquisition of a Virginia-based health plan. 
  • Providing counsel and advice to a major university-based health system regarding participation in the 340B Drug Pricing Program. 
  • Representing a large regional health insurance company in the redomestication of an insurance subsidiary to Ohio. 
  • Representing a large prescription drug plan sponsor in connection with its submission of insurance certificate of authority applications in all 50 US states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
