Jacek Wiśniewski

Jacek Wiśniewski focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, banking, finance and corporate issues. Jacek is qualified as both an attorney at law (radca prawny) and a tax adviser (doradca podatkowy).

Jacek has considerable experience in advising multinational and Poland-based clients during company buyouts and transformations of commercial companies. Jacek also advises on banking and finance issues, including acquisition financing, financial intermediation, consumer finance (including consumer credit issues for non-banking cash loan firms) and leasing and sale and leaseback transactions. Jacek also advised PE/VC funds on LBO transactions.

Prior to joining Squire Patton Boggs, Jacek was a senior associate in the Warsaw office of another international law firm.

Jacek has spoken on the legal framework of distressed asset investment in Poland for US investors and lawyers at the invitation of the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in New York.

In 2013 Jacek was elected a Member of the Circuit Disciplinary Court of the Circuit Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw (Członek Okręgowego Sądu Dyscyplinarnego Okręgowej Izby Radców Prawnych w Warszawie) by the General Meeting of the Circuit Chamber of Legal Advisors in Warsaw.

  • Advising an international renewable power producer on the planned acquisition of shares in a special purpose vehicle (SPV) created for the purposes of development of a wind farm in central Poland.
