    We are pleased to announce that Rick Arney, co-author of The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 and board member of Californians for Consumer Privacy, will present a keynote “fireside chat” at our upcoming forum. Rick will discuss the path that California’s groundbreaking initiative – based on the principles of transparency, control and accountability – took from concept to reality.

    Following the keynote discussion, leading Silicon Valley voices will explore the space between laws that seek to protect individuals and companies that are driven by personal data, and consider how we strike a workable balance between fostering innovation and adhering to regulations.
