On January 7, 2019, Cleveland members of our firm’s Women’s Enterprise group were pleased to host “The Evolving Conversation on Gender and the Practice of Law,” gathering influential corporate leaders, clients and colleagues for a fascinating fireside chat and networking reception.

We were honored to welcome two special guests to reflect on the modern reality of being a woman in the practice of law: the Honorable Judge Shira Scheindlin, retired US District Court Judge for the Southern District of New York, lecturer and frequently published author; and Lara Bazelon, nationally renowned author and associate professor at the University of San Francisco School of Law. The thought-provoking discussion was moderated by our partner Sarah Rathke, and was facilitated by Cleveland office managing partner Michele Connell and Cleveland Women’s Enterprise Chair Emily Huggins Jones.

This highly anticipated event drew over 80 attendees from nearly 40 organizations and was a fantastic opportunity for Cleveland’s most influential business leaders to connect.
