The Logistics of Clean Air Zones

    More than 25 local authorities in England and Wales have been instructed by the government to develop and implement clean air plans, many of which are expected to include a charging zone. Within three years, commercial and freight vehicles are expected to be subject to daily charges unless they meet emissions targets. With 1.6 billion tonnes of freight lifted per year, and contributing £12 billion to the UK economy, the sector needs to be fully prepared for the changes.
