With UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson expected to deliver a speech to the nation on the evening of May 10, 2020 to unveil at least the initial stages of how the government intends to “unlock” the various parts of the economy, join us for a webinar on Monday 11 May at 4 p.m. to discuss what the government’s suggested plans will mean for UK businesses.

Our speakers are Labour & Employment partner David Whincup, Environmental Safety & Health partner Rob Elvin and international affairs advisor Matthew Kirk from our Public Policy International Practice. As we get our first look at what phase two of the government’s roadmap is likely to involve, our speakers will examine the employment law and health and safety implications of the proposals, share their views on what the “new normal” is going to mean for UK businesses and give their views on the steps which businesses should be taking now to implement the proposals and prepare themselves, their workplaces and their employees for the return from lockdown.

It is clear that the hard part of the virus crisis for UK business is far from over, so with some of the measures expected to come into force as soon as May 11, this is the perfect opportunity to get abreast of the latest developments.

This webinar is intended to help your business prepare to exit lockdown in the best possible shape and will be of interest to board members, senior management, in-house counsel and HR professionals.
