Ohio K-12 schools will stay closed through the end of the 2019-20 school year due to the coronavirus (COVID-19), but the question remains what school will look like across the state during the 2020-21 school year.

Squire Patton Boggs lawyers W. Michael Hanna and Emily R. Spivack will be joined by Dr. Andrea Celico (Superintendent, Bedford CSD), Lew Galante (Treasurer, Perry LSD-Lake County), and Darryl Woolf (Director of Business Operations, Perry LSD-Stark County) for a webinar to discuss topics of importance to all Ohio schools including:

    • Terms and Conditions of Employment
    • Budget Adjustments
    • Reductions in Force
    • Personal Protective Equipment and Other Protective Measures
    • Student Safety, Access and Services Issues

Because these are not strictly legal issues, we will address both legal and practical considerations for dealing with the new realities for schools brought on by COVID-19.
