We are proud sponsors of In the Circle, a major conference focused on providing business leaders and managers with a better understanding of the opportunities that embracing sustainability initiatives can bring.

This conference aims to bring together business leaders, policymakers and academics as they set out how a sustainable approach can improve your business, as well as how it will benefit the region.

The free-of-charge full-day virtual conference will be opened by the Minister for Climate Change, Lord Callanan, in a big year for the UK, ahead of it hosting the global COP26 conference.

The day will hear from leading experts on sustainability and business, from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and businesses including Marks & Spencer and musicMagpie. They will be joined by high-profile leaders, including N8 Research Partnership Director Dr Annette Bramley and Northern Powerhouse Partnership Director Henri Murison.

Partner Karen French and director Anita Lloyd will be chairing sessions. Anita will be chairing “Bringing COP to Yorkshire: How Our Regions Respond to the Challenge” with Leeds City Council Chief Executive Tom Riordan and Commissioner of the Yorkshire & Humber Climate Commission Simon Pringle. Karen will be chairing “Using Innovation to Drive Sustainability in Manufacturing” with 3M Buckley Innovation Centre Chief Executive Sue Cooke and Leeds University Business School professor of Strategy & Innovation Krsto Pandza. More speakers will be announced over the coming weeks.

This is an unmissable opportunity to receive insight from local leaders, senior government officials, and the movers and shakers of the region.
