Germany: New Legislative Acts Aimed to Strengthen Investor Protection and Improve Financial Markets

    In May 2010, Germany’s Federal Ministry of Finance submitted to market participants the draft for debate of an act designed to strengthen investor protection and improve the functionality of the capital markets, including proposals for amendments aimed at more efficient regulation and supervision.
