ENVIRONMENTAL LAW CLIENT ALERT: DC Court of Appeals Denies Stay of EPA Greenhouse Regulations

    The DC Circuit Court of Appeals has denied a motion to stay regulations promulgated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to regulate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from large industrial sources. The stay was sought by plaintiffs in numerous lawsuits challenging the EPA rules. The denial of the stay allows the rules to go into effect on January 2, 2011.
