To Assist in Arizona Renewable Energy Projects, BLM Identifies 237,100 Acres for Development

    To accelerate renewable energy projects in Arizona, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) identified 237,100 acres which may be suitable for development. To begin the process, BLM published an Environmental Impact Statement to determine which land has the most potential for solar or wind projects. Squire Sanders lawyers have prepared a summary of the EIS and possible locations BLM is considering.
