The second 2013 issue of the International Trade and Technology Transfer Reporter, a semiannual publication of the Squire Sanders Global Import and Export Compliance Practice Group, is now available.
In this issue of the Reporter, we focus on updating our ITAR Handbook with the movement of certain items in the USML categories for Vehicle, Vessels, Submersibles and Miscellaneous Articles to the CCL. US Export Controls Reform (ECR) is the most significant development in US export controls over the past 50 years.
This issue covers:
- ECR: State Department to Implement Changes to USML for Vehicle, Vessels, Submersibles and Miscellaneous Articles
- US Export Controls Reform: State Department Clarifies Brokering Activities and Registration in the ITAR
- Australian ITAR Exemption Now Effective
- Enforcement Update
