Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2016: Analysis of Local Government Interests

    On December 18, Congress approved, and President Obama signed, The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2016 (H.R. 2029), a $1.15 trillion FY 2016 discretionary spending omnibus bill that provides budgets for all federal departments and agencies through September 30, 2016, along with a $622 billion package of tax provisions (“tax extenders”).
