The Ohio General Assembly enacted legislation on March 25, 2020, that provides for alternative means of holding public meetings. Those public bodies that are normally subject to in-person open meeting and hearing requirements are to hold meetings and hearings by teleconference, video conference or other similar electronic technology during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) public health emergency.
