This daily report (Monday through Friday)
provides an overview of the shifting state,
territorial and local government policies
and guidance related to the coronavirus
disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak in the
US.
With a significant portion of the country eager to return to
some semblance of normalcy, many states’ and territories’
stay at home/shelter in place orders expired on April 30.
We are closely monitoring in detail the actions – e.g.,
comments from governors, executive actions, plans,
frameworks, timeline announcements, etc. – states have
taken thus far to reinvigorate their economies. For ease of
reference, the term “state” will represent all US states,
territories and the District of Columbia.
