Hammonds LLP is boosting its dispute resolution practice in Berlin with the appointment of a new partner.
Horst Daniel has joined the firm from the Frankfurt office of US firm Faegre & Benson LLP, where he was head of the arbitration and litigation department and also served as the office executive partner.
Horst is experienced in cross-border disputes and counseling. He has represented national and international companies at German and EU courts or arbitral tribunals in various commercial disputes, including food and drugs, trademark, unfair competition, antitrust, product liability and commercial litigation and arbitration. Horst has also developed a highly specialised practice area for temporary and permanent injunctions in emergencies.
Prior to joining Faegre & Benson in 2001, he was a partner at the German firm Brendel, Ekkenga, Daniel & Partner. He is recommended as a leading lawyer in the JUVE Handbook of Business Law Firms.
Horst will work closely to develop Hammonds existing dispute resolution team with Munich-based Phillipp Suess, Tim Wünnemann and Hosea Haag.
