Hammonds LLP has achieved Investors in People Accreditation in all UK offices following an independent inspection of the firm and its working practices.
Investors in People is a nationally recognised accreditation within the UK that is awarded to organisations exhibiting good working practices, providing excellent client service and exhibiting a commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
Hammonds employs over 840 people across its UK offices in London, Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester.
The Investors in People assessor who carried out the review acknowledged the effectiveness of Hammonds' management in providing a clear vision and strategy for the firm. The assessor also praised the firm's training and development programme for staff from entry level positions into more senior roles.
The firm's Chief Operating Officer Sue Nickson said: 'This is a tremendous achievement for everyone in the firm and in particular it recognises the commitment from all of our people in demonstrating best practice for the benefit of the firm and its clients'.
Hammonds is also in the process of working towards the accreditation for LEXCEL, the Law Society's kitemark for legal excellence, which it hopes to achieve by no later than November 2010.
In May 2008 Hammonds became a limited liability partnership
