Hammonds LLP in Birmingham has advised Wellesbourne-based 360° Creative Event Services on the acquisition of exhibition and event floral business, Expo Flora Limited, in a deal which aims to create one of the UK's leading integrated events services companies.
Led by David Walley and David Harding, 360° Creative Event Services has been launched following the acquisition of two of the most established names in the world of events. In January the team acquired ARB Audio & Visual Hire which supplies sound, light, vision and power services to venues and the event industry and, in April, they purchased Expo Flora. The combined group now has over 80 staff operating from its new offices in Wellesbourne, near Stratford-upon-Avon.
With over 30 years' experience in the live event and exhibition industries, 360° supplies a huge variety of equipment and professional services around the world, for hundreds of events every year. These range from leading sporting events, conferences and seminars for global companies such as BT, Renault and Motorola, product launches for the likes of Jaguar, Honda and Scania, trade exhibitions and consumer shows such as Crufts held at the NEC, London International Wine & Spirit Fair, World Travel Market, and the International Spring Fair, live concerts and performances and corporate hospitality at some of Europe's most prestigious sporting events including the Silverstone Grand Prix.
Exhibition and event floral business Expo Flora provides services and facilities for numerous landmark events, including the Stella Artois Lawn Tennis Tournament, managing the external and VIP areas for the Ryder Cup and Commonwealth Games in early 2000 and designing and delivering the first ever Sports Personality of the Year event.
The Hammonds team advising 360°on both transactions was led by corporate partner Geoff Perry, assisted by corporate associate Ryan Hawley.
