Global law firm Squire, Sanders & Dempsey L.L.P. is advising the city of Cleveland on antitrust issues raised by the proposed merger of Continental Airlines, Inc. and United Air Lines, Inc.
Squire Sanders’ antitrust lawyers will monitor the US Department of Justice (DOJ) review process to ensure that the city’s interests are appropriately considered. The DOJ is expected to complete an initial review by mid-June.
The firm’s role includes advising Cleveland officials in formulating their position in response to the proposed merger.
