Patton Boggs partner Ed Wisneski and associate Lesley Sachs successfully helped the Wayne Art Center with a complaint the center received from an artist who had work on display. The artist , who had loaned an art doll piece to the Wayne Art Center for a show, sued the center in Maryland claiming that the doll had been damaged while on display. With little time to respond to the complaint, Ed and Lesley agreed to take the matter. From the start, Ed and Lesley both demonstrated a great level of commitment and creative legal analysis. Lesley quickly drafted the motion that resulted in a dismissal of the complaint and impressed the client with her thoroughness and attention to detail.
