WASHINGTON DC, March 25, 2013 – Chambers and Partners, publisher of the world’s leading guides to the legal profession, has again recognized Patton Boggs for excellence in Chambers Global 2013: The World’s Leading Lawyers for Business, an annual guide to the world’s best law firms and lawyers.

Based on highly objective research and extensive interviews of thousands of lawyers and their clients all over the world, Chambers Global ranks exceptional regional practices and individual attorneys through placement in one of six categories, or “Bands,” with Band 1 representing the highest rank.

This year, Patton Boggs earned four new rankings, including a Band 1 ranking, for one firm practice and three individual attorneys, as indicated below.  The firm’s 2013 Chambers Global rankings are summarized in the following table:

    Band Rankings – Firm Practices

    • Band 1: Qatar: Projects and Energy (New ranking)
    • Band 2: Qatar: Dispute Resolution: Internationa

Placement in any of the six Bands represents consistent findings of excellence, either in the course of peer interviews or the extensive research undertaken when compiling Chambers rankings, corresponding to criteria most valued by clients—technical expertise, business acumen, prompt delivery of service, responsiveness, and value for money.

“The consistent recognition Patton Boggs receives from the Chambers and Partners annual Global guide reaffirms the strength of our practices and practitioners within a global context,” said Susan Bastress, managing partner of the Patton Boggs Doha, Qatar office. “We are honored by Chambers’ consideration and look forward to another year of offering comprehensive, practical legal counsel to clients around the world.”
