Squire Sanders Attorney Jessica Goldman has been named to Columbus Business First’s “Forty Under 40” Class of 2013, which recognizes the achievements of up-and-coming professionals and community leaders throughout Central Ohio.

Now in its 21st year, the award honors Central Ohio's best and brightest stars, reviewed upon criteria including career achievements, professional development, community involvement and other industry distinctions. She is one of only five lawyers to appear on the list, which includes leaders spanning academia, healthcare, finance and non-profit.
Jessica’s legal practice focuses on complex litigation and business restructuring-related litigation. Specifically, Jessica represents clients in litigation matters involving product liability, contract disputes and business torts. Her practice includes federal and state court litigation and a significant amount of successful alternative dispute resolution. With respect to business restructuring litigation, she has served as debtors counsel in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases resulting in the successful reorganizations of an Arizona-based homebuilder and an Arizona-based agricultural company. Jessica has also served as primary litigation counsel for the world’s largest manufacturer of high density polyethylene pipe in various lawsuits throughout the country.
In addition to her activities within the legal community, Jessica is also is a past chair of the Young Leadership Group of the United Way of Central Ohio and current member of the Resource and Development Committee of the United Way of Central Ohio Board of Trustees. Jessica is also legal counsel to the Board of Trustees for the Columbus Marathon, a member of the Board of Trustees for the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) and a member of the Columbus Bar Foundation’s Access to Justice group.
Awardees will be honored at a ceremony on May 23rd at the Hollywood Casino Columbus and profiled in Columbus Business First’s May 24th edition.
