Washington DC, July 2, 2013 – Patton Boggs LLP was named Best USA Law Firm: Regulatory and Public Procurement 2013 at the International Legal Alliance Summit and Awards (ILASA), held June 20 in New York City. John M. Nonna, managing partner of the firm’s New York office, accepted the award on behalf of the firm.
The ILASA award recognizes Patton Boggs for excellence in the practice of regulatory and public procurement law. It is the fourth time in the last five years that Patton Boggs has earned ILASA top honors in this important area of practice, and affirms Patton Boggs’ strengths in administrative and regulatory practice.
“I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of Patton Boggs,” said Mr. Nonna. “It is especially valuable for us because it reflects the value that Fortune 500 clients place on the practice of administrative and regulatory law, an area in which the firm has excelled since its inception,” he added.
Patton Boggs was chosen from a field of more than 200 competing law firms. The firm was selected by vote of a specialist jury panel comprising general counsels and chief financial officers from such Fortune 500 companies as Microsoft, IBM, L’ Oréal, Disney and Cap Gemini.
“We are gratified that ILASA has once again recognized the role that Patton Boggs plays at the intersection of business, law and government,” commented Edward J. Newberry, managing partner of Patton Boggs. “Ultimately, however, it is the successes we achieve for our clients in navigating today’s regulated business landscape that underpin this award.”
