Squire Sanders has been voted the top law firm for asset-based lending (ABL) for the third consecutive year by financiers in the annual poll by Business Money magazine. Financiers taking part in the All-Asset Finance review were asked to vote for their top professional service firms in four categories, lawyers, valuers, outsourced due diligence, and reporting/recovery. Seventeen law firms were featured in total and once again Squire Sanders led the field, receiving more nominations than the aggregated voting figures of the firms in second and third places.
The ABL team at Squire Sanders commented: “We would all like to thank all our friends and colleagues in the ABL and finance community for recognizing us in this way, and for the third year in a row. We are committed to stay at the forefront, both in advising clients on domestic and cross-border deals and in providing them with outstanding litigation and restructuring & insolvency support. We have continued to invest across our integrated asset-based lending practice: strengthening our specialist teams, most recently by recruiting recognized industry leader Paula Laird and associates Stephen Downey and Paul McKeaveney.
“Our innovative and commercial approach that is common to our ABL transactions team, to restructuring and to litigation, ensures that we are able to help our clients succeed in this dynamic and increasingly sophisticated market. We are focused on delivery of excellent client service and this award is a testament to that approach.”
