DOHA, October 24, 2013 – Patton Boggs LLP and the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) Qatar joined forces in Doha on Tuesday to host a seminar addressing employment issues faced by U.S. companies operating in Qatar.
Washington Partner Douglas B. Mishkin and Doha Of Counsel Michael T. Palmer discussed U.S. employment laws that apply to American employers in Qatar and how to reconcile the provisions of the country’s labor laws when they conflict with U.S. employment laws. Susan B. Bastress, managing partner of the firm’s Doha office, introduced the program.
