Washington and Abu Dhabi, November 25, 2013 – Patton Boggs has joined the ‘WOMEN ACHIEVE’ initiative, a program developed by AmCham Abu Dhabi to promote the professional development of women employed throughout the city.
WOMEN ACHIEVE was created by the AmCham Abu Dhabi Women in Business Committee in January 2013 to encourage companies to offer female employees more opportunities to advance to leadership positions within their organizations. The firm has shown a long-standing commitment to the program’s core principles and, by signing on to the initiative, reaffirms its dedication to creating and sustaining a diverse workplace.
“We are thrilled to join WOMEN ACHIEVE. Patton Boggs’ foundation is built upon its people and the strength their diversity affords reinforces our platform,” said William L. Nash III, managing partner of Patton Boggs’ Abu Dhabi office. “This initiative is the perfect complement to the programs we currently employ to not only support diversity in our workplace and ensure its growth, but empower our attorneys and staff to develop to their fullest potential.”
