Squire Sanders is pleased to announce the launch of its intellectual property blog, Global Business IP and Technology Blog, which will follow significant developments in intellectual property and IT law of interest to businesses engaged in the global economy.
“We understand the complexities our clients and colleagues face in an ever-changing global marketplace,” said David S. Elkins, who leads the Squire Sanders Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group. “We envision this blog to be another vehicle for our lawyers to provide added value and perspective to current issues in a fast, informative format.”
Contributions from members of the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group, along with occasional guest pieces written by colleagues in related practices, will provide a global perspective into international legal issues involving intellectual property and technology such as trademark and brand protection, patent prosecution and protection, trade secrets, data protection and privacy, and advertising and media issues.
“We hope our blog will be a resource for our clients and others who are interested in international intellectual property issues and that it will provide insights into legal issues and developments as they arise,” said Joe Meckes, a partner in the Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group.
The editorial team will be led by Joe Meckes and Beth Seals.
