DENVER, February 21, 2014 – Patton Boggs is proud to announce that Peter S. Gould, managing partner of the firm’s Denver office, has been named to the Denver Business Journal’s 2014 “Forty under 40” list. The annual recognition, which honors Denver's “young, dynamic, up-and-coming business leaders,” is based on demonstrated business leadership and support for the community.
Mr. Gould is active in the American Mountain Guides Association and served as a member of its Board of Directors from 2007 through 2012. He is also a past member of the Appalachian Trail Conservancy Board Nominating Committee and presently sits on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Lawyers Committee, a nonpartisan consortium of 58 Colorado law firms focused on creating opportunities for children, the poor and other disadvantaged communities through advocacy, negotiation and litigation. Mr. Gould also remains active in the Center for Legal Inclusiveness and Craig Hospital, where he is a member of the 1907 Ambassador Circle, and is an avid supporter of the arts in Colorado and the Mountain West.
I am honored to be included among such a high-caliber, talented group,” said Mr. Gould. “Denver is a vibrant community and full of sophisticated and exceptional professionals – and I am fortunate to count many of them as clients, colleagues and friends.
At Patton Boggs, Mr. Gould works nationally with numerous federal and state regulatory agencies, the private sector and nongovernmental organizations to assist clients with matters involving administrative and regulatory law, government investigations, litigation and dispute resolution and public policy. He advises clients in a variety of areas, including education, transportation, energy, natural resources, environmental and industrial health and safety.
Nearly 300 individuals were nominated for this year’s “Forty under 40,” according to the Denver Business Journal. The winners will be honored at a luncheon on March 21 and profiled in a special section of the Denver Business Journal published that day.
