Squire Sanders was one of only four firms, and the only international firm, to be “recommended” by the publication in their annual Latin Lawyer 250.
Now in its 16th year, the Latin Lawyer 250 is an authoritative guide highlighting the leading business law firms operating across Latin America. The guide is compiled based on extensive research by the Latin Lawyer editorial staff, including polling legal practitioners in the region and face-to-face interviews with law firms and their clients in all 18 Latin American countries, as well as in the United States, Canada and Europe.
Most recently, the firm’s Santo Domingo office represented Grupo Financiero Leon in its US$4 billion merger with Centro Financiero BHD, the largest deal to date in the country’s financial sector. In addition, Squire Sanders was recently named a finalist as “Dominican Republic Law Firm of the Year” at the Chambers Latin America Awards.
