Squire Sanders played a leading role in Washington Technology’s Best Deal of the Year. The award recognizes top deals in the government services sector. Washington Technology is the leading source of competitive intelligence for executives providing contract services to the government market.
In the winning deal, Squire Sanders represented defense contractor CACI International Inc in its acquisition of Six3 Systems, Inc. from the private equity firm GTCR. Six3 Systems provides support to the national security community in the areas of cyber and signals intelligence; intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; and intelligence operations. Valued at US$820 million, this deal is the largest of CACI’s 50-plus acquisitions to date and one of the biggest in the government defense technology industry in 2013.
