Construction and Engineering lawyers from the UK and France have joined forces to deliver a roundtable discussion on ‘Delivering International Construction Projects: Common Law Contracts’. The discussion explored the issues clients might face when doing business in large international construction and engineering projects, under common law contracts.
The well attended discussion took place on Friday 20 June 2014 at the Paris office. Delegates from clients such as ArcelorMittal, Alcatel-Lucent, Horta Coslada, Alstom Grid, and Deloitte attended the event. Our team included Graeme Bradley, Robert Norris, Alex Johnson and Stephen Evans from the UK, and Antoine Adeline and Alexandre Le Ninivin from Paris.
A “key points” document summarising the main points to take away from the discussion will soon be available and distributed to the delegates. Given the success of the event, the UK Construction and Engineering team are hoping to host similar roundtable discussions, both in the Paris office as follow up events, and in other offices around the globe.
Please contact Alex Johnson and Stephen Evans if you would be interested in attending future discussions, and Alexandre Le Ninivin for French related matters. The key points document can be made available upon request.
