Two lawyers from Squire Patton Boggs, Tomas Solis from New York and Kristen Johnson from Doha, have been appointed to the Regional Coordinating Committees for the ICC International Court of Arbitration’s Young Arbitrator’s Forum for North America and the Middle East.  Squire Patton Boggs is the only firm to have two lawyers appointed to the Committees.

The Committees, composed of members from 30 countries, have a two-year mandate to manage the promotion and development of the ICC Young Arbitrator’s Forum global network, which has over 7,500 members worldwide.

Global chair of the firm’s International Dispute Resolution practice, George von Mehren, commented: “The ICC received a high number of applications from lawyers looking to join its Committees and we are delighted that Tomas and Kristen have been successful; an achievement which shows the diversity and vitality of our international arbitration practice.”
