Squire Patton Boggs has achieved a 100% rating for the eighth consecutive year in the 2016 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), published annually by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices relating to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) workplace equality. The Squire Patton Boggs score reflects a commitment to LGBT workplace equality, with respect to tangible policies, benefits and practices.
In total, 851 companies were officially ranked in the 2016 CEI report. Squire Patton Boggs is one of 95 law firms to achieve a 100% rating. The index is based on the Foundation’s independent research, as well as information submitted by the businesses themselves. Each is evaluated on criteria such as nondiscrimination policies, diversity training covering sexual orientation, employer-provided domestic partner health insurance and other resources available to LGBT employees.
