Of the Director’s Handbook, Peter R. Gleason, CEO, National Association of Corporate Directors, commented, “Businesses are operating in a world defined by uncertainty, resulting in a rapidly widening scope of boardroom responsibilities. For directors who are feeling overwhelmed, the Director’s Handbook makes the 21st-century director’s multifaceted duty of oversight far more approachable. Editor and contributor Frank Placenti has assembled insights from legal and governance experts who provide the reader with the resources directors need to capably handle the most common and complicated governance issues.”

Martin Lipton, founding partner of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz offered the following comment: “The Director’s Handbook, with its broad sweep and user-friendly format, promises to be a valuable addition to the resources available to educate directors and prepare them for the increasingly challenging but vital role they play.”
