Squire Patton Boggs partner and leader of the Conflict Minerals team Dynda Thomas has been named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Leaders in Conflict Minerals.
Ms. Thomas, who was ranked among the top 20, was selected for her role in “shaping the future of supply chain excellence and responsible sourcing with an outstanding contribution to increasing the public’s awareness of conflict mineral compliance through education and advocating responsible sourcing.”
The Top 100 Conflict Mineral Influence Leaders List is independently researched by Lucas Taylor, University of Notre Dame MBA and LDT Consulting, on behalf of Assent Compliance. Using the developed scoring algorithm, participants are added to the list and adjusted based on individual research by LDT Consulting. This list is revised annually to reflect the evolving regulatory landscape.
Making her second consecutive appearance on the list, Ms. Thomas, who serves as editor of the firm’s Conflict Minerals Law blog, was recognized for her thought leadership in the sector, frequently speaking and writing “on the legal implications and ramifications associated with conflict minerals legislation, both within the US and EU.” According to the guide, Ms. Thomas’ “work on conflict minerals and responsible supply chains within legal frameworks has been a reference point for people across the industry when trying to understand the intricacies of minerals regulation.”
