Squire Patton Boggs achieved a 100% rating for the tenth consecutive year in the 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.

The Squire Patton Boggs score reflects a commitment to LGBTQ workplace equality, with respect to tangible policies, benefits and practices. To achieve a perfect score and the coveted distinction of “Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality,” firms must have fully- inclusive equal employment opportunity policies, provide equal employment benefits, demonstrate organizational LGBTQ competency, evidence their commitment to equality publicly and implement internal guidelines prohibiting philanthropic giving to organizations that discriminate against LGBTQ people.

The firm was also recently named as a Diversity Leader Award winners by Profiles in Diversity Journal; selected among the "Top Firms for Diversity" by The American Lawyer in its 2017 Diversity Scorecard Report; honored as the “Best National Firm for Work-Life Balance (North America)” at the Euromoney Americas Women in Business Law Awards 2017; and received the 2017 Family Friendly Award from the Ohio Women’s Bar Association, among others.
