Rahul Pathak has been honored as an Intellectual Property Trailblazer by the National Law Journal.
The fourth annual edition of IP Trailblazers honors legal professionals who made their mark in patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret law. Honorees were selected from hundreds of nominated lawyers.
Dr. Pathak assists clients with patent prosecution, management, reexaminations and due diligence, with particular focus in the fields of chemistry and biochemistry. He works with a wide range of clients, from start-ups to multinational life science companies. As part of the interview process for Trailblazers, he recalled being interested in IP law while completing his Ph.D. in chemistry.
Dr. Pathak acts as a volunteer expert adviser for the California Life Science Institute’s Fellows All-Star Team Accelerator. For three consecutive years, Dr. Pathak was recognized in the Daily Journal’s annual list of the top intellectual property lawyers in California. He is ranked in Chambers & Partners’ Intellectual Property category for patent prosecution in California.
