Squire Patton Boggs is delighted to advise that Mary Pringle has joined the firm as partner, effective 1 July 2019.
She joins the firm’s Real Estate Practice, working alongside partners Mark A. Palermo, Margie M. Tannock and Michael Swift (Perth) and Dannelle Howley and Rahul Parrab (Sydney).
With more than 20 years’ experience in real estate law, most recently as a partner at Clayton Utz, Mary is known for her strong technical expertise, commerciality, responsiveness and negotiation skills. She has worked in Sydney and Perth and her practice incorporates development projects, acquisitions and disposals, subdivisions, joint ventures and also commercial leasing.
Career highlights include undertaking the real estate work for the revitalisation of the iconic Scarborough Beach foreshore and its transformation into a world class beachfront and tourism drawcard and advising on the AU$750 million redevelopment of Garden City Shopping Centre.
Last month, senior property and agribusiness practitioner Michael Swift also made the switch to Squire Patton Boggs. This brings total real estate partner numbers to six and strengthens a diversified and comprehensive offering.
“This brings total partner numbers in the Real Estate team to six and enables us to continue to deliver bespoke commercial advice to our clients in the development, investment, finance and construction industries,” said the firm’s Australian managing partner Campbell Davidson. “Our Asia Desk has never been busier – with much of the foreign investment focused on real estate transactions.”
Mary is delighted to have joined the firm and said: “I am delighted to be joining the Squire Patton Boggs team with the opportunity to assist clients locally, nationally and internationally. Such an exciting time to grow the real estate business and I can’t wait to contribute to that growth.”
