Squire Patton Boggs has advised Ibereólica Cabo Leonés III, a subsidiary of Spain’s Grupo Ibereólica Renovables, in securing an approximately US$110 million financing for the construction and operation of its Cabo Leones III wind power project.
Located in northern Chile, Cabo Leones III will have an approximate, total capacity of 78 MW. It will connect to the SING power grid in northern Chile through the Maitencillo substation. The wind farm is scheduled to begin commercial operations in 2021.
