The John W. Peck Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Chapter of the Federal Bar Association has named Squire Patton Boggs associate Jennifer Dollard-Smith an honoree of the PLEDGE (Promoting Lawyer Excellence & Driving Gender Equality) Award. Hosted by the Gender Equity Task Force, the inaugural award recognizes eight exceptional emerging women lawyers in the region for their legal skill, experience and professionalism.
The Gender Equity Task Force of the John W. Peck Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Chapter of the Federal Bar Association aims to spotlight, at its inaugural PLEDGE event, the professional successes of exceptional women lawyers in the Greater Cincinnati area at a critical point in their careers. The Gender Equity Task Force believes in supporting and retaining today’s talented women lawyers so they can become tomorrow’s leaders and advocates.
Ms. Dollard-Smith is a litigator with experience representing public and private companies in state and federal courts. She has represented clients in consumer class actions, complex business disputes, arbitration proceedings, preliminary injunctions and government investigations. In addition, she has experience defending patent infringement and products liability lawsuits.
An active member of the community, Ms. Dollard-Smith is on the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the Ohio Women’s Bar Association. Her community efforts also include serving on the Barrister’s Advisory Board for the Potter Stewart Inn of Court, and as a mentor for the Ohio Women’s Bar Association’s law school mentoring program.
